Samuel Steel Allison

  Enlisted 1 Aug 1862 at Harrisburg, PA.
Mustered out with Company 18 May 1863

One month after enlisting, in September 1862, his unit was in the Battle of Antietam.
Prior to the unit's end of service they were in the Battle of Chancellorsville in April 1863.

Samuel was a farmer in Huntington Co., PA. Married first to Almira Miller, with
whom he had three children.  Married second wife Josephine, with whom he had eight children.
